Jiawei Guo is a 5th-year Ph.D student from UC Davis supervised by Dr. Ambarish Kulkarni (expected to graduate by the end of 2024). Her interest lies at the intersection of molecular simulation, machine learning/data science, material science, and catalysis. Her Ph.D projects at UC Davis focused on developing machine learning potentials to screen zeolite topologies and active sites for reactions. Before visiting the group, Jiawei interned at Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL), supervised by Dr. Nitish Govindarajan, where she worked on developing machine learning potentials to explore the cation and coverage effects at the metal/electrolyte interfaces.
