Jiawei Guo is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the DSLab. Her interest lies at the intersection of molecular simulation, machine learning/data science, material science, and catalysis. She obtained her Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from UC Davis, focused on developing machine learning potentials to screen zeolite topologies and active sites for reactions. Jiawei also interned at Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL), supervised by Dr. Nitish Govindarajan, where she worked on developing machine learning potentials to explore the cation and coverage effects at the metal/electrolyte interfaces.
