Joseph worked in the Digital Synthesis Lab as a second-year Materials Engineering Undergraduate at UCLA. His research interests involved working with dataset generation and machine learning for chemical design. Before attending UCLA, Joseph graduated as the valedictorian from Del Oro High School in Loomis, California.
