Kai Yang worked in the DSLab as a graduate student and postdoctoral researcher, specializing in computational materials science with a focus on amorphous materials. His research interests span materials simulation, materials informatics, and scientific machine learning. Kai is a triple-bruin, having obtained his Ph.D. (2025), M.Sc., and B.Sc. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCLA.
